Swim Lessons at Kennedy Swim School
Kennedy Swim School lessons are held at the Hampton Inn University Area, 4 Sturgis Corner Dr, Iowa City, IA 52240 (between Staples and the Village Inn restaurant).
- Swim lessons are offered for all ages and abilities.
- All swimming lessons are private 20-minute lessons – one teacher per student.
- Each student is typically scheduled for one 20-minute lesson per week each session, or two or more lessons per week in the summer.
- You may schedule multiple students with different teachers at the same time.
- Late registrations are accepted based on availability.
- A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your time slot for the session. Payment plans are available.
- Please note that all registrations are final and we cannot accommodate changes. Please be sure to plan ahead when scheduling swim lessons.

Session 1: September 9 – October 31
$280 per student for 8 lessons (20-minute private lessons)
Session 2: November 4 – December 19
(no lessons Thanksgiving week)
$216 per student for 6 lessons (20-minute private lessons).
Most students take one lesson per week, but you may take two per week if desired, for an additional cost. Siblings can be scheduled at the same time if space is available.
Please remember that at Kennedy Swim School, we allow families to schedule lesson times that work for you. Unfortunately, all registrations are final and we cannot accommodate changes. Please be sure to plan ahead with other activities and commitments when scheduling your private swim lessons.
